We are currently looking for a Site QC Civil Engineer to join our QC team of our M Power Projects across UK.

By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of civil and structural construction activities on-site. This includes overseeing inspections, verifying adherence to project specifications, managing laboratory tests, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and quality management systems.

Your role will encompass:

• Maintain safety standards and comply with the Project’s Health, Safety, and Environment Management System requirements
• Execute the Project Quality Plan, ensuring compliance through project specifications, procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and method statements (MSs)
• Issue Request for Inspection (RFI) to the Client and maintain a register file for inspection progress
• Verify inspections are performed to ITP requirements, issue relevant Quality Records, and report non-conformities
• Oversee materials receiving reports, excavation, fill processes, foundation preparation, reinforcements/formworks, and embedded items installation
• Inspect structural steel fabrication and erection activities, including elevation, alignment, anchor bolt/bolt tightening, and participate in final walkdowns to monitor and close punch items

What you bring to the role: 

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 3+ years of previous experience in civil/structural inspection activities
• Worked on major civil/structural projects with a Civil Engineering Degree or relevant engineering qualification
• Experience in laboratory works for earthworks, including lab tests on filling materials, proctor tests, concrete cubes strength testing, and slump tests
• Experienced with UK regulations for civil works
• Excellent command and proficiency in spoken and written English
• Previous experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001:2015 requirements considered an asset
