We are currently looking for a Site QA/QC Manager to join our QA/QC team of our M Power Projects across UK.

By joining this role, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products and services. The responsibilities will include developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance and quality control programs, policies, and procedures according to the Mytilineos Quality management system and the contract requirements.

Your role will encompass:

•  Reports to the Head of QA/QC and the Project Quality Manager, ensuring compliance with Mytilineos and Project Quality Standards
• Monitors and supports Quality Control activities for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical works
• Implements the Project Quality Plan at the site, utilizing project specifications, erection procedures, and inspection and test plans (ITPs)
• Manages and reviews test reports and documentation from subcontractors, ensuring compliance with ITPs and Project Quality Plan
• Performs inspections as required by ITPs and client specifications, verifying qualifications, calibrated equipment usage, and adherence to standards
• Coordinates statutory inspections by 3rd party agencies, informing the Site Manager and Construction Supervisor of any non-conformities observed
• Supports the Site QA/QC team in preparing Erection ITPs, QA/QC documentation, and issuing final project documentation

What you bring to the role: 

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 7+ years of experience in the field of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical QA/QC of Major Industrial Projects i.e. Power Plants and Oil & Gas

• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach, ensuring thoroughness in quality inspections and process evaluations
• Experience in developing and implementing quality control procedures, work instructions, and documentation
• In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control principles, practices, and methodologies. Solid experience on ISO 9001 QMS
• Familiar with Construction Codes, UK Regulations and Standards related to Oil & Gas, Power Plants Industrial Projects, Grid infrastructure
