Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a driven, strategic and dedicated individual to take on a new Facilities Manager position. You will be supporting the Head of Property in developing and delivering the FM strategy for all UK UW properties. In this role, you will be heading up the Facilities team based in our various UW UK locations.
We deliver progress. What you’ll do and how you will make an impact…
Manage the operational and capital budgets for the Facilities team and the supply chain.
Ensuring compliance of our property portfolio and working closely with the H&S manager on audits, risk assessments and best practice.
Manage and take ownership of compliance documentation for the facilities team and train / develop team members on compliance matters.
Lead, coach and develop the skills and capabilities of team members (your direct reports and the rest of the FM team) in order to share knowledge, increase team skill level and improve the standard of service delivery.
Act as the strategic lead for all transformational change projects in the FM team, demystifying complex solutions and data to provide simple business cases for senior management review.
Be the subject matter expert for FM, providing technical advice and guidance to senior stakeholders within the organisation.
Collaborate with your colleagues across the trading businesses to align our priorities and deliver excellent service and FM support.
Introduce insightful reporting for the FM team, primarily focussing on complex data sets from periodic budget reporting, supply chain performance and customer feedback surveys.
Take a safety-first approach to your work, act responsibly and support our colleagues and suppliers with risk management guidance and advice where required.
Own and deliver the implementation of a suitable asset management strategy for all FM assets.
Plug-in to the strategic projects and workstreams in other areas of the business to ensure FM always have a seat at the table.
Own and develop supplier relationships and the delivery of contract tenders in partnership with procurement.
Conduct site visits to ensure you are familiar with the operation and your key stakeholders.
Understand the nature of changing trading periods and plan support (our team and suppliers) accordingly.
