Key Responsibilities

• Strong assertive leadership of interdepartmental project teams to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage change control & risk management processes. Accept change & identify risks to formulate responses to setbacks with minimal disruptions.
• Manage budget planning, tracking, and financial accountability for projects.  
• Negotiate and build positive relationships with key project stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, & listening)
• Strong working knowledge of stage gate and agile methodology
• A deep understanding of Product Development Life Cycle Methodology Phases
• Experience with gathering & understanding business requirements that define project scope for software, firmware, and hardware programs. 
• Expertise in project management scheduling tools (Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Planview)
• Strong understanding of development methodologies (Waterfall & Agile) and increment release planning
• Strong working knowledge of stage gate methodology

Accountabilities

• Strong ability to resolve conflicts successfully within the project team while retaining a collaborative working environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a global matrixed organization.
• Ability to travel as needed to support project activities.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience
• Experience in utility, telecommunications, or similarly regulated industries is a plus.
• PMP or similar
