Territory Business Manager
We are recruiting for a Territory Business Manager for T22, The South and South West UK
As the role is in the South/South West, the successful candidate will be expected to live in a location that can cover the territory in an efficient way.
This TBM role also has the responsibility for the sales of Harvesting equipment, with no support from a HTSM, so will be required to support dealers directly with the sales of combines and SPFH.
The ideal candidate will:
- Exhibit a sound business understanding, have empathy with dealers and customers and be able to apply common sense to challenging situations, so we provide a distinctive customer experience, are the qualities that are most valued.
- A farming background or exhibit knowledge and understanding of the agricultural economy and the customer and dealer organisation upon which we depend, is advantageous, but not a prerequisite.
- Be conversant with the present range of John Deere equipment, and ideally with a technical understanding of such would be an advantage; however, the role of a Territory Business Manager calls for more than a technical appreciation of the product.
Major Duties
- Develop channel partners.
- Promotes the sale of products and services to channel partners and end users and is ultimately accountable for meeting sales goals and market share goals.
- Manages company assets to maximize return.
- Manages the contractual relationship, serves as a liaison, and resolves issues between the channel partner and the Company.
- Counsels channel partners on product, marketing, financial, and/or management-related matters.
- Delivers training to channel partners, Company employees, or customers.
- Works with other internal partners to maintain a good working relationship between channel partners and the Company to maximize enterprise objectives.
