Job Description

The Technical Application Engineer for our Vessel Maintenance Management System is responsible for executing technical maintenance tasks on the software, ensuring the smooth functioning of the application to support vessel maintenance operations. The role involves adjusting master data records, work breakdown structures, correcting data errors, ensuring accurate data replication to vessels, and monitoring the performance of the application.

Your responsibilities as a Technical Application Engineer Vessel Maintenance Management System:

• Adjust Master Data Records: Modify and update master data records to reflect accurate information related to vessel maintenance activities.
• Adjust Work Breakdown Structures: Manage and adjust work breakdown structures within the application to align with maintenance requirements and operational needs.
• Correct Data Errors: Identify and rectify any data errors within the software to ensure the integrity and accuracy of maintenance-related information.
• Correct Replication of Data to Vessels: Ensure that data is correctly replicated to vessels, verifying the accuracy and completeness of information transferred.
• Monitor Application Performance: Regularly monitor the performance of the application, identifying any potential issues and taking necessary actions to maintain optimal functionality.

Your qualities
You can make your mark as technical application engineer Vessel Maintenance Management system if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years’ relevant work experience as a technical application engineer or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL and .NET.
