This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves content creation, story-telling and writing. If you’re obsessed with making complex topics easy to understand, enjoy doing interviews, researching and love to write, this role has your name on it! You will be responsible for creating and writing compelling and impactful content to support offline and online activity across multiple channels for the BizCover business, including our partner and broker channels and BizInsure (USA).
Your day to day -
Planning and Analysis
In conjunction with the content and digital team plan the annual content strategy.
Develop and execute new content initiatives via analysis of industry and competitor content.
Creation and content management
Research, develop and write compelling and impactful branded content (in line with brand vision and guidelines), including:
Website copy
SEM Landing pages
Blogs and News articles
Editorial / Advertorial
Video scripts
Social media copywriting
Case studies, whitepapers, and eBooks
Partner & advertising content
Ensure content is optimised for SEO
Manage our BizWitty guest blog site acting as editor and publisher
PR Management
Support the development of releases, including the writing of press and media releases, monitor media alerts, distribution and pitching of stories to publications & other content distribution platforms – including our own.
Deliver customer and subject matter expert interviews as required (e.g. online, in-person and via questionnaires) to profile our brands as the go-to business insurance solution in market.
Establish connections with leading industry publications when required.
Manage our News and Views hub “BizTalks” to ensure our four content pillars (news, leadership, partners and awards) are updated.
Manage external award submissions and nominations
Requirements
Business/Marketing, PR/Communications degree is ideal.
5 years’ experience in Financial services/insurance and/or the SME sector
Experience working with CMS - WordPress is preferred.
Understanding of SEO best practice
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience and passion to interview
Impeccable spelling and grammar
Great research and learning skills
Eye for detail and a passion for perfection
Proven ability to deliver to timelines
Highly developed interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Can Do attitude
