Job Descrption
Tasks & Responsibilities
- In addition to the CDS role, senior CDS would be able to work on and support GCL/line manager for the complex clinical programs within overall GCD objectives, such as programs with several clinical studies, several indications, programs with no approved precedence in the targeted indication, challenging programs from safety aspects.
- Present clinical trial results when required (internal / external Committees, ex. RDMC, SRC)
- As appropriate, provide leadership in organization and execution of discussions with KOL/external experts and advisory boards/scientific exchange meetings to ensure robust study designs and value maximization of data generation.
- Supports or leads interactions with GMA/market access and other departments to ensure cross functional input into study protocols as well as from external experts.
- Lead the scientific review in potential due diligences during evaluation of external opportunities (External Innovation and Licensing department), presenting and defending conclusions to proper committees (RDSC)
- Permanent member of the Project Team.
Education
- BA in science, with more than 8 years of experience in the clinical development, including experience in Health Authorities consultancies and having contributed to MAA submission to the Health Authorities.
Specific knowledge
- In addition to CDS, the Senior CDS can provide appropriate scientific contribution for the complex programs, with several indications or important development challenges, and has appropriate prior experience that leads to a greater degree of autonomy then CDS.
