[Internal Auditor- Central - Permanent - Full Time]

As our Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for auditing the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls for marketing offers and guest facing transactions, including gift card sales, membership rewards, frequent flyer partnerships, vouchers and VIP offers.

The role will involve an initial secondment to work with the Senior Finance Officer to analyse and monitor claims made through the partnership system, before transitioning into the Internal Audit team.

What you will be doing

• Regular audits of partnerships, membership and VIP offers to ensure they are proportionate, provide a suitable return on investment and controls and systems are effectively managing the risk of misuse.
• Reviews of compliance with governance processes over the use of and management of gift cards.
• Supporting with the development and implementation of a system of controls and review of new and existing cash-based reward offers.
• Regular audits of key transactional systems to ensure the effectiveness of controls.
• Building strong working relationships with the Hospitality and Marketing functions to be able to influence and advise on the development of proportionate controls which manage risk but allow the functions to operate efficiently.
• Supporting the Director of Internal Audit and Internal Audit Manager with the completion of planned and special audits.
• Support and cover for the Brand turnover audit process.
• Support the development of IT solutions to aide efficiency and improve preventative and detective controls.
