Business Development Lead, Healthcare and Med Tech - NALA at NVIDIA

Job Descrption

NVIDIA’s accelerated computing platform and AI-specific software and services are providing intangible capabilities to our customers who are reimagining the way healthcare will be delivered. This NEW position will lead the business development function for our healthcare and medical technology business in North America / Latin America (NALA). We are looking for a business development leader to raise awareness and increase the adoption of our purpose build solutions designed to accelerate the development and deployment of AI across the healthcare and medical technology landscape.

This leader will work closely with the global head of business development for healthcare and med tech, the cross functional leadership of NVIDIA and the NALA healthcare sales team to develop and implement strategies that will drive revenue and pipeline growth through the development of healthcare specific solutions based on NVIDIA hardware, software, and the NVIDIA partner ecosystem. The role requires the ability to think strategically about the ecosystem, lead within a highly matrixed organization, drive flawless execution, and deliver sales results. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise, be well networked within the healthcare and med tech ecosystem, and have shown the ability to sell at all levels within an organization.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing, building, and driving the growth strategy within the healthcare and medical technology ecosystem within North America / Latin America (NALA).

  • Collaborating closely with NVIDIA product teams to develop and package healthcare specific solutions.

  • Developing successful partnerships with the healthcare and medical technology ecosystem by identifying targets, leading the engagement, defining success metrics, and driving the execution through completion.

  • Leading and supporting sales execution at strategic accounts in collaboration with our regional sales teams.

  • Developing repeatable sales plays that will be used to enable both the NVIDIA and partners sales team to scale.

  • Educating and engaging our channel partner sales teams including distributors, OEMs, global system integrators, and public cloud service providers to deliver joint go-to-market initiatives.

  • Supporting sales critical issues, partner/channel conflicts and related business issues.

  • Maintaining a clear and effective line of communication amongst relevant team members to ensure alignment and efficient execution of plans.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a leading University or equivalent experience.

  • 12+ overall years of sales, marketing or business development experience in technology selling into healthcare and med tech accounts.

  • Effective executive level communication and presentation skills

  • Consistent track record of sales execution overachievement.

  • Proven track record to lead and deliver results within a highly matrixed organization.

  • Experience leading the execution of win-win partnerships with large, complex organizations.

  • Knowledge of enterprise computing software and services pricing strategies, channel economics, and hybrid computing platforms both on-prem and cloud offerings

  • Able to travel as needed ~25%+.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Deep understanding of the healthcare and med tech ecosystem, specifically the key applications and workflows that leverage Machine Learning, Deep Learning and AI.

  • Strong relationships with executives at market making healthcare and med tech organizations.

  • Track record of launching and growing sales of a jointly-developed product through a partner/channel sales team

  • Foundational knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, GPU accelerated computing and NVIDIA software products

  • Master’s degree and/or MBA is desirable.

The cash compensation range is 220,000 USD - 391,000 USD, with 85% paid through base salary and 15% variable compensation. Your cash compensation will be determined based on your location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
