Senior Regulatory Manager at Trinny London

Job Descrption

As Senior Regulatory Manager you will manage the global regulatory compliance of all Trinny London products (including cosmetic, general and OTC products). You will work with our technical and brand teams to ensure all our products can be sold around the world and develop and implement a Global Regulatory Strategy that ensures we stay agile and lean during our fast growth.

The Role 

Your key responsibilities are:
 

  • Working on cross functional teams and communicating complex regulatory requirements and technical data in an understandable way for any audience in order to bring exciting new products to the market.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance of all our product artworks and marketing messages across all channels for our desired markets.
  • Working with the Head of Technical to develop and implement our Global Regulatory strategy.
  • Managing the regulatory process across our US FDA OTC formulations.
  • Supporting Brand Innovation and Technical teams on proposed claims and testing for all products to ensure claims are maximised and compliant with legislation in our key markets.
  • Building an expertise in global regulations to ensure Trinny London stays agile and compliant during its fast growth.
  • Managing multiple applications simultaneously and interface directly with regulatory bodies, agencies, distributors and other stakeholders to resolve application issues.
  • Authoring and compiling technical documentation for submissions, licensing and re-licensing, and change reporting.
  • Researching and reporting relevant regulations and conducting impact/gap analyses to ensure smooth implementations in assigned markets.
  • Representing Trinny London with the CTPA to stay on top of the latest regulatory market updates and legislation.
  • Developing strong & supportive relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers Requirements 

Requirements

The essential skills and experience required to succeed in this role are:

  • A scientific degree (cosmetic or pharmaceutical science) or in a fundamental science (chemistry, biology or biochemistry)
  • Significant experience in cosmetic regulatory affairs
  • Project management experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships and communicate with all levels of management. 
  • Strong analytical skills, proactive approach to anticipate issues and provide solutions
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written with a high level of creativity and attention to detail
  • Speed to market and able to work in a fast paced, start-up work environment
  • Results oriented, excellent ability to utilise and manage the organisation's resources to achieve goals
