From Major League Baseball star pitchers to Golf tour players, athletes use Rapsodo technology to up their game across the world. Cricket is a new sport for Rapsodo, with a plan to enter the market in Q2 2024. Our product, which leverages technology and design from Golf and Baseball, is focused on Bowling, providing a wide range of data points to players and coaches in real time.  

The cricket department channels the spirit and innovation of a start-up, whilst operating within the framework of a well-established business. This means we can be creative and flexible, whilst also benefitting from centralized functions (e.g. HR, Finance, Operations) and the support of great technology teams in Singapore and Turkey.

Roles & Responsibilities

•        Contribute to the engineering aspect of projects by gaining a comprehensive understanding of Rapsodo’s technology and utilizing it effectively.

•        Conduct product testing procedures for the Cricket Product, analyze collected data sets and information, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

•        Assist to develop tools, test cases and program enhancements to automate process(es) during various stages of the product life cycle.

•        Collaborate closely with an international Cricket Product Team to enhance and optimize the existing Cricket value proposition by giving user feedback, writing PRDs and raising JIRA tickets.

•        Assist in documenting and maintaining meticulous records of features, functionalities and product outlined in the cricket roadmap.

•        Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in the sports technology space.

Requirements

•        Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Sports Technology, Product Engineering or equivalent.

•        Fearless, inquisitive nature and the ability to discuss and develop ideas and concepts.

•        High learning aptitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

•        Critical thinking skills with detail-oriented mindset.

•        Insight into the quality issues in the product life cycle is a plus

•        A pro-active, organized & meticulous person who can work independently under a fast-paced, dynamic and multi-cultural environment.

•        Strong willingness to learn, develop skills and contribute to the department in a positive way

•        Being a sports enthusiast in Cricket is a strong plus.
