About the Role

As the Talent and Performance Management Leader, you will take a leading role in the design and implementation of organization-wide key talent  and performance management strategies that foster the engagement, development and retention of diverse populations of Mironeers and key talents. 

What you’ll do

Create an integrated Talent Management strategy that provides frameworks, methodologies and tools to drive performance and the identification and development of talent across Miro

  • Evaluate the current state of Miro’s Talent and Performance Management philosophies and practices to evaluate what enhancements and/or re-designs are necessary in line with the broader Painted Picture
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure that the Talent Management practices are integrated and aligned across all People disciplines in order to create consistency across functions
  • Design, socialize and implement Talent Management programs including: Performance Management (Re-imagine), Talent Reviews, Succession Management, promotion reviews and career blueprints/matrices etc
  • Evolve and/or re-design the Miro’s Performance Management process to drive high performing employees and organization by integrating performance management into day-to-day leadership capabilities
  • Maintain a deep understanding of business drivers and market conditions and proactively design innovative, cost effective and market competitive programs that facilitate the attraction, motivation, and retention of Mironeers
  • Leverage data driven insights and human-centric design to assess and diagnose organizational needs and provide recommendations to address business performance gaps
  • Create agile talent management solutions that address and resolve performance and potential gaps, maximize opportunities to connect with and develop Mironeers and enable them to grow and scale
  • Design scalable and effective ways of identifying and developing internal talent and building appropriate professional development paths
  • Own succession planning,  and bench strength initiatives, working with leadership teams to embed as part of wider talent and people agenda

Engage with internal and external partners to drive the implementation and delivery of Talent Management programs and processes

  • Solicit executive sponsorship to support the change management and adoption of Talent Management solutions
  • Partner with internal communications and others to implement innovative approaches to drive awareness, adoption, and effectiveness of Talent Management programs and solutions
  • Leverage BP’s and others to support the delivery and execution of Talent Management solutions
  • Establish engagement model, ways of working and roles/responsibilities for each relevant group given the matrix structure
  • Identify relevant internal customers, partners, collaborators who are critical for a successful implementation of talent development solutions
  • Continuously leverage business/BP feedback, observations, and talent metrics to adjust solutions/approach ensuring the long-term talent objectives are achieved

Evaluate impact of Talent Management programs and initiatives

  • Partner with business leadership teams and People Analytics team to identify robust metrics (OKR’s/KPI’s) to measure the success of talent management programs and processes, track internal movement and development and other demographics
  • Continually monitor the impact of talent management programs and use data driven insights to identify trends for continuous improvement
  • Provide appropriate reporting to relevant business and People Team stakeholders along with recommendations for continuous improvement efforts

Participate as an active member of both the immediate Talent Development and Culture and the wider People Team at Miro

  • Provide insights and thought leadership to the development of talent related objectives, philosophy, strategic planning, and roadmap
  • Stay abreast of and bring forth innovative Talent Management trends, models and approaches to evaluate how they might be adopted for Miro at a global or business unit level to ensure the attraction, development, and retention of key talent
  • Support the ongoing development of both members of the Talent Development and Culture team and Miro’s people partners serving as a coach, mentor and/or advisor to continually increase the capability of the team

What you’ll need

  • 8+ years experience in talent management, performance management, or a related HR function
  • Experienced people manager or IC expert, both are acceptable tracks
  • Strong understanding of industry best practices in talent development and performance management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions
  • Experience with talent management software and tools
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels
