What you'll be doing…
This is an opportunity to join a team at a moment when we’re pivoting to a very creative new direction. If you’re a brilliant ideas person with an analytical, strategic mind and a love of new platforms, this is your chance to shape the direction with us and be a key player in building something new and exciting. You will be the key creative strategy lead for a growing creative team with a strong focus on branded content, social media, and influencer marketing.
You will collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Head of Planning, and the creative and planning teams on responding to new briefs. You will thrive off deconstructing a brief and understanding the client's need that drives it. You will have an innate flair for balancing the strategic objectives with being able to spot and amplify the creative opportunity - and a healthy hunger to keep getting better at this.
You will be adept at plugging influencer and social ideas into brief responses but you won’t stay in your lane. You’ll be someone who sees campaigns and content “in the round” - always with an eye on an extension idea or a “something we’ve never done before”.
You’re a pragmatic optimist whose standard MO is asking: “What if?” and “Why not?” A positive team energiser.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…
You will be a specialist in social and ideally an influencer as well, with a deep knowledge of social platforms, best practices, and current and emerging trends in the space. You probably currently work at a specialist social, influencer, or content agency.
In this role, you will oversee a tight team of social activation specialists, so you will need to be able to be an escalation point for them, for new and live paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and other social platforms.
- Experience gained in a media or creative agency, and ideally in a specialist social, content, or influencer agency
- Experience in an agency-side strategy role
- Proven experience in delivering successful projects/campaigns/programs of work in social and/or influencer
- Proven experience of successful delivery in a strategy role
