Summer Research and Development intern position as a culinary scientist. Estimated duration 3 months.
JOB SUMMARY: R&D Lab Intern will assist technicians and scientists in developing recipes utilizing our food ingredients, and developing food demos. ideal candidate is a student enrolled in a culinary arts programs.
Essential Duties and Key areas of responsibilities:
Demonstrate good laboratory practices and follow SOPs
Prepare demos for product development activities as directed
Support the team in preparation, set up, and documentation of test results, etc.
Maintain instruments, including daily calibrations, and ensure lab equipment is ready and available for use, including cleaning and set up
Maintain retain sample area up-to-date, lab data &inventory logs
Execute tests/experiments as directed
Effectively communicate with lab and operations personnel
Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
