Position Highlights:
- You’ll play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of a robust and reliable risk management platform.
- You’ll work closely with our quantitative analysts and product teams, the Risk Platform
- You’ll contribute to the development, enhancement and optimization of our proprietary risk management infrastructure
Responsibilities:
- Push End-to-End Development: Spearhead the comprehensive development of the risk management system, encompassing the creation of exchange connectors, internal services, and interfaces with the trading system.
- Collaborate with Product Teams: Collaborate closely with product teams to gain insight into functional challenges, prototype novel concepts, leverage emerging technologies, and innovate solutions that align with organizational objectives.
- Translate Requirements into Technical Solutions: Translate business requirements into precise technical specifications and architectural diagrams, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and adherence to business guidelines.
- Design and Implement System Components: Conceptualize, prototype, and implement pivotal components within the system architecture, fostering robust communication channels and optimal data flow between interconnected modules.
- Contribute to Project Planning: Participate actively in project planning initiatives, contributing to the formulation of project timelines, design specifications, system flow diagrams, and comprehensive documentation to guide development efforts.
- Optimize System Performance: Continuously refine and optimize the risk platform to achieve minimal latency, employing cutting-edge techniques and methodologies to enhance system efficiency and responsiveness.
- Enforce Code Health Best Practices: Uphold the highest standards of code quality by implementing rigorous practices such as unit testing, integrated testing, performance benchmarking, and ensuring code readability for seamless maintenance and scalability.
- Maintain and Support the Platform: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the risk platform, proactively identifying and troubleshooting issues across development and production environments to ensure uninterrupted system operation and stability.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Experience working with C/C++ (3+ years).
- Knowledge of a C++20 standard.
- Experience working with Python (1+ years).
- Outstanding knowledge of Linux.
- Proficiency in Version Control Systems (Git).
- Proficiency in using Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), MySQL and Bash.
- Proficiency with messaging libraries like ZeroMQ and message brokers like Apache Kafka.
- Experience with metrics collections and monitoring systems like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Graduate degree in statistics, math, science, or another quantitative discipline.
- Effective communication skills and fluency in English.
- Close attention to detail, ability to work to very high standards, and critical mindset.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have:
- Programming experience in Full-stack development.
- Familiarity with distributed computing and parallel processing techniques.
- Familiarity with benchmarking tools and performance counters and other perf measurement and analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of Financial Instruments (Stocks, ETFs, Futures, Options).
- Genuine interest in finance, trading, and how modern electronic markets work.
