BDG’s Talent team is looking for an enthusiastic Intern to assist the team this summer. This person should have their finger on the pulse of pop culture and entertainment. We are looking for someone who consumes media in a variety of ways; everything from podcasts to TV shows to TikToks. They must have excellent writing and researching skills, an interest in social media (particularly in Instagram and TikTok,) and be eager to learn the ins and outs of talent and influencer marketing. BDG’s 2024 Internship Program is an exciting opportunity to get hands-on experience at one of the fastest growing digital media companies today. Our immersive program gives each intern the chance to explore and develop their interests through executive mentorship, career training, professional development seminars and workshops, collaborative projects, off-site events and more. This is a paid, part-time opportunity beginning June 3, 2024 and runs through August 23, 2024. Candidates should be available to work up to 28 hours per week, and will be given the choice to work either remotely or from BDG’s New York City HQ office near Madison Square Park, depending on your role.
Responsibilities
Research influencer talent by category
Compile sample lists of influencer talent for assigned requests
Pull imagery, bios, and metrics for talent
Assist the Talent team with any requests, tasks, or needs for activated programs
Product fulfillment, shipping, & returns for all shoots
Shoot day support (messengering, packing, set builds, coffee runs, transportation, catering)
Messengering product to/from office and studio
Book necessary travel & accommodations for talent
Update the internal Talent Roster with new Talent names and contacts
Perform day-to-day administrative tasks
Requirements
Passion for entertainment, pop culture and social media
Strong organizational skills in a deadline-driven environment
An understanding of and enthusiasm for BDG’s mission and individual brands
A passion to work at a fast-paced digital media company
A flexible, ambitious mind with a problem-solving mentality
A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions and implement feedback accordingly
Ability to work independently when necessary
Willingness to alter workflow with a sense of urgency
