Purpose Of The Job
Lead the Electrical & Instrument Decommissioning activities across the Regeneration project. Job holder will be appointed Responsible Electrical Engineer (REE) and Responsible Instrument Engineer (RIEE) across the assets and will manage programmes of maintenance appropriate to maintain E/I integrity up to and including the demolition of the assets. The job holder will be required to work closely with the WPPS & WPS Project Manager supporting the HV / LV diversions project therein.
Accountabilities
Accountability 1
Manage Redundant E/I Assets Integrity and Codal compliance to prevent unacceptable SHE situations arising.
Accountability 2:
Develop and deliver the Electrical & Instrument strategy and plans for the Regeneration Project.
Accountability 3:
Manage the E/I teams workload and priorities.
Accountability 4:
Develop the capability of the E/I team maintaining appropriate levels of technical competence within the organisation.
Qualifications
- Chartered Engineer or HNC / ONC with 20+ years experience, will have held asset engineer roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the specific technologies and engineering standards across the site assets
- Strong technical SHE leadership and understanding of relevant legislation and standards
- Practical experience of plant control and electrical systems commissioning, operation and maintenance.
- Understanding of all E/I ICEP’s and ICEG’s
- Project Management experience, familiar with methodologies and KPIs
- Strong Proponent of ASCARE & SHE 20 Principles.
