FP&A Associate

What this position is about - Purpose: 

The incumbent will support the FP&A manager and the local Team in the financial planning, analysis and reporting activities for GCC & Iraq to ensure that the business deliverables are met This position requires skills in FP&A, sound understanding of P&L and the business context , willingness to communicate with range of business partners and at various levels , ability to work with high level of details to incorporate business necessary financial analysis that will contribute to decision making.

What will you do - Responsibilities: 

Financial Planning & Analysis:

Support planning and budgeting processes across all cycles:

• Design templates for data input and guide completion.
• Ensure timely volume submission into IBP tools and market assumptions into GPM.
• Prepare commercial analysis for volume, marketing spend, and cost trends.
• Prepare Market Free Cash Flow planning and submission for GCC & Iraq.
• Ensure quality of plan submissions through detailed checks and inquiries.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Assist in financial planning reporting and monthly performance analysis:
• Conduct comprehensive variance analysis for gross margin.
• Provide monthly brief variance analysis for MFCF.
• Monitor month-end closing entries for accuracy.
• Prepare variance analysis for marketing budget and resolve queries.

Simplification:

• Drive process improvement to enhance data collection and templates for better business support and analysis.

Financial Support:

• Assist on projects to enhance systems and controls.
• Handle ad hoc requests and tasks for the FP&A manager and Finance Director as needed.

Who are we looking for - Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; Master's degree preferred.
• 3-4 years of finance experience, preferably in planning and analysis in FMCG.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in scenario planning and budgeting.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SAP4 functionalities and GPM.
• Sound understanding of P&L.
