Responsibilities:
- Undertaking a rigorous introductory training programme
- Origination of new business across the firm
- Develop and maintain new and existing client relationships
- Provide timely broking services on behalf of the client-base
- Provide updates to clients around market moves and relevant news developments
- Develop a deep understanding of underlying markets to provide an in-depth advisory brokerage service covering everything from hedging advice to trade execution
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise services delivered to clients
- Contribute to production of media content and marketing materials
- Assist with desk administrative tasks, such as trade reporting and production of research reports
Requirements
- Degree required, preferably in economics, energy or finance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of professionalism
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluent in English; proficiency in another language preferred
- Natural passion for relationship building and networking
- Able to work individually and within a team in a competitive, target-driven environment
- Demonstrated interest in energy and financial markets
- Willingness to travel internationally for business
- Willingness to socialise and network in and out of standard working hours
