This role's primary focus is to take a hands-on approach to taking the practice of debt recovery strategy to the next level through the use of Data Science principles and putting them into practice. You will also be expected to work closely with a range of internal stakeholders and across the wider D&A community to deliver and implement change.

What you’ll do

• Create data science solutions and develop them towards a framework that you will constantly evolve and improve

• Define and implement a standardised set of data builds and effective metrics

• Evaluate new and existing data assets that could improve your solutions

• Ensure your data science solutions are scalable and easy to implement in to existing tooling

• Broaden our integration with our parent company (EFX) through increased use of the data, products, tools and services they provide

• Self-start the implementation of a Data Science culture that is desirable in the market and helps you to build an effective and high performing team 

What experience you need 

• Exceptional numeracy and keen attention to detail

• Recent experience with database environments, data set manipulation and programming languages (particularly in SQL, R, Python or similar)

• Proven ability to self-start, operate independently, derive elegant and scalable solutions that are easy to implement and deliver demonstrable results

• Thought leadership of the forward development of your respective field
