Job Description

Sopra Banking Software is recruiting for an PMO Administrator to provide internal support to the PMO Team within the Professional Services Business Unit. The PMO Administrator role is primarily an administrative role to support a team of PMO analyst and Project Managers across a wide range of projects.

The Programme Management Office is the information hub for projects and programmes within the portfolio and involves tracking and reporting, assurance and quality control, information management, financial tracking, change control, support and knowledge management and learning from experience. The Programme Management Office will add value through the knowledge, skills and experience of its staff.

The role of PMO Administrator is to support the PMO Team & Project Managers. This will include some of the following responsibilities:

  • A collaborative approach in working with PMO colleagues, the Project Management Team and Finance.
  • Portfolio, Programme & Project data production from corporate tooling including challenging results, validating data & dashboard creation.
  • Participate in the various processes in the lifecycle of complex projects.
  • Maintain PMO process documentation, training materials, project artifacts & project governance structure.
  • Supporting PMO Analysts & Project Managers with customer specific requirements.
  • Manage communications from the PMO mailbox including regular reporting cycle requests.
  • General administration tasks across the team including various tooling & housekeeping tasks.
  • Support the quality strategy across all projects.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and with clear documentation)
  • Working with Microsoft Office toolset with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • You will be working within a team that includes a number of part time members of staff, team-working and the flexibility to pick-up and handover tasks based on availability is important.

Desired candidate profile:

We are interested in hearing from you if you have most of the following attributes:

  • Administrative experience
  • Microsoft Office Toolset Knowledge with Microsoft Excel experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project Management Office entry level experience (not essential as training will be provided)

As part of our hiring process new employees will be required to pass a confidential consumer credit check and DBS check. This is a straight forward credit check for CCJ’s, bankruptcy and a criminal record check, however if you wish to know more about what is or is not acceptable please ask our recruitment team.

Salary range for this role is £23,500 to £25,000 per annum
