To accelerate our growth trajectory, Tesorio is looking for a high-powered Enterprise Business Development Executive. We are coming off a record-setting year in 2023 and are looking to bring in a strategic business development executive on a contract basis  to further accelerate our growth. We're looking for someone with 5+ years of B2B SaaS Selling experience to be part of a leading Financial Technology software-as-a-service (SaaS) business.

Our platform analyzes billions of dollars of B2B transactions each year, users spend 70% of their workday in Tesorio, and we save finance teams thousands of hours. As a result, they can invest more confidently and anticipate their capital needs further in advance.

The Right Candidate Will

  • Lead sales prospecting efforts with high outbound activity and a bias for action
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities and introduce to the appropriate AE
  • Be a self-starter and comfortable making prospecting phone calls quickly
  • Utilize our CRM as a source of truth to ensure all data is up to date and accurate 
  • Understand customer goals, plans, challenges, timeline, budget, authority
  • Learn about our innovative AR Automation platform and stay current with market/industry trends 
  • Evangelize Tesorio’s pillars and values through all internal & external communications

Top Characteristics and Traits for a Successful BDR

  • 5+ years of experience in Enterprise selling
  • Ability to speak with CFOs, VP Finance, Treasurers, Controllers, Accounts Receivable leaders and ask discovery questions about customer workflows and Jobs to Be Done
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Genuine customer empathy
  • Organized and strong time management skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • A thirst for knowledge and growth in a start-up environment
  • A sense of urgency and persistence
  • Experience using Sales Enablement Tools: SFDC, Outreach, SalesNav, Zoominfo & Orum
