How you’ll make an impact here – and on your career: 
Versapay is on a mission to find new ways to disrupt the status quo, go to market faster, and optimize customer experiences. We’re seeking an experienced product owner to help lead this mission. The ideal candidate will have lofty ideas and strategies that foster an environment of collaboration and creativity. We need someone who has an entrepreneurial mindset for distilling business value and goals into roadmaps and refined backlogs. Most important, we need a product owner who can help us align Versapay's customer journey, product, processes, and technology to deliver connected experiences by productive, effective VEEPs.  

What you'll do:

  • Define Salesforce ecosystem vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout. 
  • Manage and develop Salesforce team 
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze needs and align roadmap to strategic goals. 
  • Work closely with product managers, Salesforce delivery team, and functional teams to create and maintain backlog according to business value or ROI. 
  • Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management. 
  • Plan and prioritize development and feature backlog for our Internal Systems architecture. 
  • Develop detailed Salesforce feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by relevant teams. 
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with strategy. 
  • Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals. 
  • Lead Salesforce release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities. 
  • Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions. 

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Qualifications:  In-depth knowledge of agile methodology and execution; understanding of business value related to features and functions; deep Salesforce knowledge, with strong preference for Salesforce certification(s).   
  • Experience: 5+ years leading a Salesforce team; experience as a Salesforce Product Owner or similar role; experience as a project manager for technical projects. 
  • Expertise: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to diagnose and scope problems, implement recommendations, and track success. 
  • Creativity & Innovation: You're an innovator leading with an experimental mindset and framework to drive the business forward. 
  • Follow through: Highly motivated, strong prioritization, and a bias for action. Can work independently to bring all assigned work to completion with speed and accuracy. 
  • Planning & decision making: Ability to move between strategic and tactical, breaking down objectives into priorities and initiatives with actions to effectively deliver outcomes. 
  • Collaboration: Assertive with humility—able to lead change in a positive way. Great communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, approachable and excited to work with cross-functional teams. 
  •  Agility & Mindset: Highly adaptive in the face of ambiguous and complex problems, taking a flexible and open-minded approach to new challenges. Able to seamlessly alternate between various tasks and excel in the face of frequent change. 
  • Results oriented: Ability to recognize what results are the most important and create the steps to achieve them. 

  • Versapay is a remote-first company, so the Product Owner, Internal Systems can live anywhere; however, some travel may be required for this position.
