As the Mailroom Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in our organization by overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Payer Operations mail team. Your leadership will empower associates to excel in their roles, all while delivering optimal business results.

You will:

  • Be responsible for the daily operation of all mail processing functions including inbound mail, PAF, research and any other identified functions
  • Provide the following to the Payer Ops mail team on a daily basis: work prioritization and resource allocation
  • Supervise day-to-day team performance, conduct 1:1’s and quarterly performance assessments
  • Review and approve time sheets for accuracy 
  • Maintain and track productivity and quality metrics for all team members
  • Provide coaching and feedback on achieving production and quality standards of the role
  • Motivate team members through effective training, supplemental materials and coaching to improve quality and production
  • Serve as a resource and subject matter expert to staff
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned

What you will bring to the table: 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, mailroom production environment while maintaining adherence to high quality standards
  • Effective decision making; ability to make fact-based operational decisions quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully coach, mentor and develop associates
  • Analytical skills needed to track and analyze data to drive KPIs and process improvements within the department
  • Ability to work onsite 100% of the time at our Phoenix based office
  • Ability to be flexible in the work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)

Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive and internally fair. Salary ranges for this function are developed with the support of benchmarks and industry best practices. 

The estimated salary range for this role is  $52,700 - $62,000.

This is an onsite/field-based position.
