Job Description
General functions of the Tax Credit leasing Agent:
Processes and maintains accurate resident files
Works closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure quality work is completed
Processes re-certifications and renewals on time
Ensures that all applicants and residents are in compliance with government regulations
Assists applicant with the application process
Creates and updates the wait list
Completes any daily, weekly, or monthly reports assigned by Property Manager
Assists residents with work orders or any issues they are having in their home
Completes move-in walk through with new residents
Qualifications
Excellent customer service: someone who can navigate all types of situations
Knowledge of Property Management software: Yardi (REQUIRED)
Knowledge of affordable housing/government programs
Attention to detail
Understands and complies with state landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing laws and Cal-OSHA
Knowledge of Excel, Word Document, and Outlook
Works well under pressure and maintains a positive friendly attitude
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
Additional Information
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for management and supervision of assigned LIHTC Portfolio and operation of Portfolio communities, including, but not limited to, (i) supervision of the general administration and maintenance aspects of the physical asset, (ii) financial control and management of each asset, and (ii) direction and control of all personnel and resources, in all cases, so that each community is maintained at all times in good physical condition with a stabilized fiscal operation and motivated staff. Reports to: President or Regional Vice President
IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIPS
Works closely with Property Managers to develop motivated, well-trained on-site teams, and to establish and maintain positive, productive relationships with residents, the community, governmental agencies, suppliers, vendors, consultants, and other members of corporate management and staff.
Property : Hale Kalele (201 units)
Pay: $18 - $20 hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday ( 8am - 5pm)
