Accounting Clerk - Inventory at Radius Recycling

Job Descrption

The Accounting Clerk (AC) reports to the Senior Accounting Manager (SAM). The AC plays an important role in the monthly book to physical inventory reviews. Preparation of month-end close journal entries and preparation of ad-hoc reporting falls within the duties of the AC. The AC primarily assists in gathering documentation. The AC works with Management to ensure that the close processes are on track and implements continuous improvement of the accounting environment. In addition, the AC may be involved in ad hoc projects.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (such as a GED)
  • 1-2 years accounting or relevant bookkeeping experience including responsibility for company general ledger and financial statements preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel software, ERP systems (preferably ORACLE) and 10-key competency.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established deadlines.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to establish and maintain quality relationships and support all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Willingness to challenge conventional thinking for the betterment of the company.
