UK & IRE Engineering Manager

Location: – Flexible (with Travel to NWE Terminal and Pipeline Network Locations).

Hours: 36.25 hours per week (5 days), but we can support flexible working.

Contract Type: Permanent

About the role

The successful candidate will lead a team of multi-disciplinary professional engineers conducting engineering activities on NWE assets with responsibility for asset integrity and design/technical integrity during definition, procurement, execution, and commissioning stages of NWE projects. While providing strong leadership to the engineering team and overseeing continuous development of engineering processes and standards in line with the organisation’s values & strategic model. Liaising with other departments to maximise asset availability, minimise downtime and reduce sustaining CAPEX and OPEX without compromising safety, legislative or corporate and/or regional inspection and/or repair requirements. Ensuring safe working practises are followed in line with legislation and company standards, process & procedures. Champion improvement to the organisations processes & culture to continually improve leadership, communication, and collaboration. Ensure all internal & external staff are appropriately trained, competent & resourced to safely execute their required duties.
