Job title: Admin and Accounting Assistant
Position: Permanent
Functional area: Decarbonisation Business Department
Reporting To: General Manager of Decarbonisation Business Department
Location: W4 5YA (West London)
Purpose of the job:
The Admin and Accounting Assistant is expected to provide administrative services and proactive accounting support to the Decarbonisation team and other departments as required.
General Duties
- Assisting Decarbonisation Business Department / Other Departments (including visitors from other MHI group companies) with any administrative matters including travel arrangements, business trip expense claim and payment application when required.
- Client management including scheduling and organizing visits and meetings
- Any other office matters as required.
- Assisting Decarbonisation Business Department with any accounting matters including managing accounting transactions, preparing budget forecasts, handling monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
Required Skills
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role(s)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Japanese.
- Strong IT skills – MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Clerical knowledge
- Organisation and strong attention to detail.
- Time management.
- Team worker.
- Proactive
- The ability to work on own initiative.
- Confidentiality is a must.
Education and Qualification
English and Maths GCSE Grade C or the above, or equivalent
Location:
Chiswick Park, 566 Chiswick High Street, Building 11, W4 5YA London
Working Hours:
35 hours per week, hybrid model.
