As a General Manager your main responsibility is to provide strong leadership and management for the overall operations in the workshop.  The role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in workshop management who can drive operational excellence whilst maintaining operational high standards of quality and safety. The role will have full accountability for the financial accounts, target setting and achievement of profitability in line with the business objectives and goals.  

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Full ownership for the financial accounts, sales and targets for the workshop.
•    Optimise efficiencies and productivity across all departments, including quality, control and maximizing efficiencies.
•    Lead and develop a high performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure exceeding customer expectations.
•    Identify opportunities for technology integration to streamline processes and enhance efficiencies.
•    Develop key performance indicators (KPI) to measure, analyse and report on the workshop performance.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
•    Strong communication and leadership skills in a workshop or manufacturing environment 
•    Ability to implement initiatives and manage change effectively.
•    In depth knowledge of workshop or manufacturing operations, quality control and safety standards.
•    Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
•    Financial acumen with the ability to manage, interpret and control budgets effectively.
