Responsible for providing information for demand fulfillment, inventory analysis, supply chain services, and planning. Assists Supply Chain Manager by providing data and analysis for preparation of and developing route optimization and raw materials requirements.
Work on transportation-related projects, including route optimization, carrier selection, and freight cost analysis.
Use historical data to evaluate transportation performance and identify opportunities for cost savings or service improvements.
Work closely with the internal customs team to understand and implement data enhancements using ETL tools.
Leverage AI and Machine Learning technology for HTS classification.
Collect data from various sources within the supply chain, such as inventory levels, transportation routes, and order fulfillment.
Clean and preprocess the data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Analyze the data using tools like Microsoft Excel, SQL, or business intelligence platforms to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Create regular reports summarizing key supply chain metrics, such as inventory turnover, lead times, and order fill rates.
Develop custom analytics and reporting tools using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies in supply chain processes.
Propose process improvements based on data analysis, aiming to optimize inventory management, reduce lead times, and enhance overall efficiency.
Implement automation solutions to streamline repetitive tasks, such as order processing or inventory tracking.
