As a Funding Coordinator, you are responsible for working with the Closer, Settlement Agent and Warehouse Bank to facilitate the funding of each loan. The monies are sent to the Settlement Agent and used to disburse the loan according to the signed Closing Disclosure. The Funding Coordinator must be able to work in a pressure-filled environment while maintaining a service-focused attitude.
You will need 1+ years of mortgage processing, closing, post-closing or other directly related experience a plus.

Our Funding Coordinators initiate the wire that is used to disburse the loan funds then review and approve the executed closing documents. These tasks facilitate a stress-free closing for our borrower.
You will review closing documentation and validates data within our Loan Origination System (Encompass)
Initiates wire for release to the settlement agent.
Ensures that management has been notified to approve wire and provides follow-up to confirm release.
You will review and approve signed closing documents notifying settlement agent of approval to release funds.
Register loan in the MERS system.
Pay all funding fees and mortgage insurance to FHA and VA as required.
You will work with other roles within Post Closing to allow for the timely completion of all daily duties.
You will maintain company service level and turn-time standards; specific measurable include return-call times, return-email times, and task completion times
