The Tapestry UK office hosts a small team of Project Managers, Functional Analysts, System Analysts and Software Engineers undertaking software implementation projects in the UK and mainland Europe along with providing sustainment support to systems in live operation in these countries. This post is a senior PM role leading complex software implementation projects in the UK and Europe and is highly customer-facing. The post-holder will be responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of software implementation and software upgrade projects for multiple external clients. You will build close, open and professional relationships with the clients and establish effective communication mechanisms and approaches. You will lead the Tapestry technical team, ensuring that you evaluate and obtain the resources needed from both the UK and broader Tapestry to deliver the projects, appreciating that all staff are likely to have other responsibilities alongside your projects. You will be responsible for planning and managing the tasks needed to execute the program and managing the project costs and invoicing. You will need to understand and manage risk, anticipate problems and priorities activities and problem solve on a daily basis to make sure that projects are delivered on schedule and to budget supporting the technical team and seeking management support when needed.
