Teladoc Health’s Group Creative Director is a visionary and leader responsible for telling our story in the most beautiful and ambitious ways that are befit of a company changing how the world experiences Healthcare. Our Group Creative Director will manage a team of art directors, copywriters and content strategists who deliver Teladoc Health campaigns across all channels. You’ll pair a Creative mastery with a keen knack for user acquisition, retention, and usage strategy, to grow our member base and increase member engagement in our platform. To accomplish these results, you’ll own the creation and delivery of impactful campaigns across every channel, product, and health condition. 
Our ideal candidate is a seasoned Design leader who will actively shape our vision for our brand and how we connect with audiences—both a strategic thinker and a hands-on doer. You’ll provide direction to the team, set the standard for best design and copywriting, and manage your team’s assignments, workload, and development—while also defining departmental goals, shaping, and maintaining our brand, managing freelancers, and editing work from other contributors. 

This is a highly cross-functional role, in which you’ll partner closely with our Consumer Marketing team, as well as Product, Design, Clinical, Data Science, Health Coaching, and Engineering personnel, on a variety of initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the Creative team, managing art directors, copywriters and content creators responsible for campaigns and content for Teladoc Health brands 
• Thought leadership on consumer behaviors and marketing best practices
• Establish and inspire best-in-class visual design practices for throughout Teladoc Health
• Provide oversight on Creative Strategy across consumer marketing channels, campaigns and assets; and provide direction on voice, tone, messaging, and structure
• Help define our member content and engagement strategy      
• Lead content development for enrollment and engagement marketing campaigns for new and existing conditions and markets, including enrollment email journeys, landing pages, direct mail, premium incentives, and more      
• Develop and lead seasonal campaigns and content        
• Define, drive, and measure KPIs for relevant initiatives   
• Cultivate and oversee a growing team of freelance writers and editors    
• Keep up-to-date with messaging trends and best-practices for email and other marketing communications

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directly manage Creative team members
• Manage team assignments and workload
• Guide and support the professional development of team members
• Train team in approved consumer messaging, editorial and brand voice guidelines                                                         

Qualifications Required for Position

• 12+ years of Creative and Design experience
• Strong experience with a consumer-facing health or lifestyle brand
• Strong leadership and management ability

The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $185,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for commission, RSU’s, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2024. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
