As a Warehouse Associate , you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing parcels and packages in a safe and efficient manner. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receiving and Unloading: Receive incoming parcels and shipments, verify quantities, and inspect for any damage or discrepancies. Unload trucks and delivery vehicles using manual or mechanical equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
2. Sorting and Storing: Sort parcels and packages based on destination, size, weight, and other criteria. Ensure that parcels are properly labeled and stored in designated locations within the warehouse, following established inventory management procedures.
3. Picking and Packing: Retrieve parcels from storage areas based on pick lists or customer orders. Pack parcels securely for shipment, ensuring that they are properly labeled and prepared for delivery.
4. Shipping and Loading: Prepare parcels for outbound shipment by consolidating orders, labeling packages, and arranging for carrier pickup or delivery. Load parcels onto trucks or delivery vehicles using appropriate loading techniques and equipment.
5. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or computerized systems. Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize loss or shrinkage.
6. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to property. Follow all regulatory requirements and company policies related to warehouse operations, including hazardous materials handling and storage.
7. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other warehouse associates, supervisors, and departmental teams to achieve daily operational goals and targets. Communicate effectively to coordinate workflow and address any issues or concerns that may arise.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred but not required.
