We're looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our digital Team in our Midlands office. This will be a great opportunity for anyone who has senior experience in a design or marketing agency, software house or creative organisation working with Laravel daily.
Role: Senior Web Developer (PHP/Laravel)
Salary £50-£55k
Location: Hinckley (With UK based remote working)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using PHP, ensuring high-quality code and adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to define project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- To be entrusted with coming up with ideas to present to the development team for possible solutions around issues.
- Assist in the testing and deployment of applications, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and platforms
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a PHP Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful web application projects
- Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Knowledge of modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
- Experience with database systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
