Job Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic team player with SaaS support and/or automotive dealership experience who loves challenges, pushes boundaries and is passionate about delivering awesome customer experiences. In this role, you will work with the sales team to understand the specific challenges and goals of the client and help translate those needs into measurable benefits that Tekion can deliver. This will involve financial analysis, cost-saving projections, and increased efficiency metrics. By quantifying the value, Tekion Account Executives can present a more compelling case to clients. Our transparent and collaborative culture means we work both independently and together as a team on projects in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Focus on sales process and look to provide insight to remedy gaps
Build & lead a team of value consultants delivering a range of services to prospective customers
As an integral part of Worldwide Sales, work closely with regional Sales Leadership, Sales Directors, Product Management, Finance and Marketing to support and drive regional initiatives to improve pipeline generation and subscription revenue
Engage at the executive level with prospects and customers as a subject matter expert on financial value and business impact from Tekion’s Automotive Retail Solutions.
Nurture and drive innovation of how we tell the story of: “Why do anything,” “Why now,” and most importantly, “Why Tekion?”
Work with Tekion’s internal teams to continuously refine Tekion’s financial value-based selling methodology including tools, deliverables, offerings
Support the Sales Operation/Sales team members to ensure meaningful and relevant value-based selling methodology, tools, etc.
Serve as a mentor and advocate for team member professional development
Develop and improve competitive positioning and messaging to enable the SVA and sales teams
Proactively contribute to Tekion’s Value proposition including thought leadership, speaking at professional conferences, etc.
Skills and Experience
Strong and demonstrable experience (3-5 years) in a leadership role related to value services and consulting
Compelling executive presence with the ability to build credibility and trust with senior executives from customer organizations.
10+ years’ experience in either technology sales/sales support, management consulting, or industry practitioner
Domain knowledge is an additional benefit
Strong financial modelling abilities and products such as Mediafly
Demonstrated ability to build partnerships across the business with various internal teams (for example: Sales, Pre-Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Success)
Ability to be a partner with area and regional sales leadership to develop sales strategies to drive pipeline and increase probability of success
Project management and multi-tasking skills
Experience supporting international team with travel
Driven by working within a fast-paced environment with a diverse workforce
Passion and hunger to win, succeed and strive for excellence
Travel required (approx. 30%)
MBA or advanced degree in finance, economics or related field strongly preferred.
Position can be remote, central US preferred

The salary range for this position is $194,400 - $265,700. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. This position is also eligible for a bonus whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance.The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. In addition to the compensation listed, this position is eligible for equity compensation.
