We are searching for a passionate Bartender inspired by the coasts of the Mediterranean, Carrubo offers an intimate and lively atmosphere under the twinkling lights overlooking Southwark Street.

ROLE: Bartender

LOCATION: Carrubo, London Bridge, UK

PAY RATE: £12ph Plus Service Charge

REPORTS TO: General Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Protect and enhance the reputation of the bar as a best-in-class destination for food and drink and an enhanced customer experience via the managing and motivating of the bar team.
• Providing a consistently high level of customer service
• Complying with and following licensing regulations, Company procedures and policies
• Working as part of a team to deliver excellent customer experience
• Attend and complete all training provided
• Maintain operational standards
• Ensure rooms are prepped and ready for continued service
• Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to the area of choice; present menus/set times.
• Help patrons select food and beverages with recommendations and upselling
• Stay updated on food and beverage menus and stock levels
• Transmit orders to bar and food trader by recording patrons' choices on EPOS; identifying patrons' special dietary needs, allergens and special requests

Requirements

• A passion for consistently high standards and attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and customer service skills
• A genuine interest in food and beverage
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude and be an excellent team player
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and be excited to work in a vibrant, busy environment
• A passion for music is the right fit
• Previous experience within hospitality industry would be ideal but not essential
