Reporting to the Head of Finance NI, the successful candidate will play an important role within the Credit Control function of the Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and a proven ability to work within a team and on their own initiative.
Role and Responsibilities
Monitors and collects outstanding debtor balances in accordance with agreed terms.
Reduce debtor days in line with agreed targets.
Implements best practice procedures in cash collection.
Ensures that all payments are accurately allocated and processed.
Maintains a log of all credit control activities.
Processing of requests for credits or re-issues.
Produces and analyses end of month ageing reports.
Liaises with Finance Department and Fee Earners to ensure timely resolution of queries.
Builds on-going relations with clients and internal personnel including with fee earners and partners.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year experience in Credit Control preferably within Professional Services.
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise a demanding workload.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels within the organisation.
