Your Role in Our Mission
Carmoola is expanding its marketing team, and we're looking for a creative individual to join us in a dual role as a Marketing Designer and Video Specialist. As a key contributor to our marketing efforts, you will play a crucial role in crafting visually stunning and engaging content. Your responsibilities will be divided equally between graphic design and video editing, contributing to our marketing campaigns and brand presence.
The Role
In this hybrid role, you'll be responsible for creating visually appealing designs and compelling video content that aligns with Carmoola's brand identity and marketing goals. Your day-to-day activities will include:
Video Editing (50%):
- Conceptualize and edit video content for marketing campaigns, product promotions, and other initiatives.
- Work closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure videos align with overall marketing strategies.
- Utilize video editing software to enhance the visual appeal and storytelling of Carmoola's video content, with a focus on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
Graphic Design (50%):
- Develop eye-catching visual assets for marketing materials, including social media posts, email campaigns, website content, and other promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in brand messaging and design across various channels.
- Maintain a keen understanding of design trends and incorporate innovative design elements into Carmoola's visual identity.

To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a Marketing Designer and Video Editor, showcasing a portfolio of successful projects.
- A passion for staying on top of the latest trends in social media, with a focus on creating and editing new, high-performing TikTok creatives.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Figma) and video editing software (Premier Pro / CapCut).
- Creative flair, with a keen eye for design aesthetics and storytelling through visuals.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and content teams.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple design and video editing projects simultaneously.
- Experience of applying visual overlays and transitions to enhance retention and stopping the scroll.
- Previous experience in filming new content for social media is an advantage.
