We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Support Chemist to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.  Your role will have a direct impact on the competitiveness and success of our products.

As a Business Support Chemist, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Technical Support, Product Management, R&D and Marketing to provide in depth product chemistry knowledge, facilitating effective problem-solving and driving product and process development.

Responsibilities:

As a Business Support Chemist

• Carrying out product and process development projects.
• Resolving customer processing and application challenges.
• Collaborating with regional R&D teams to develop and optimize products and processes and contributing to the formulation of sustainable solutions and alternatives.
• Ensure product portfolio optimization and raw material selection in accordance with the latest industry and health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Educated to degree level in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of chemical synthesis techniques and characterization methods.
• Proficiency in using analytical instruments such as FTIR, SEM, ICP and XRD
• Familiarity with product formulation and application techniques
• Experience in problem-solving, product optimization, and development, preferably in an industrial or research setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with good organisational and time management skills.
