Main Responsibilities / Expert Tasks

High level Process Engineering work for the design of amine-based acid gas removal units

• Project Management – focus on technical, but also commercial support throughout project lifetime (pre-FEED, FEED, EPC, unit operation)
• Acquisition and development of new OASE technology projects and licenses in assigned industries.
• Participate and contribute to global innovation project to achieve regional objectives.
• Develop and nurture a relationship with key customers, engineering contractors, and other relevant business partners to foster the BASF Gas Treatment portfolio.
• Execute and manage sales and technical service agreements with customers in the assigned industries.
• Establish good working relationships internally with relevant stakeholders such as BASF customer service, legal, logistics, product management and regulatory departments.
• Attend major industry conferences and participate in regional industry associations to network with industry players and increase visibility of BASF in industry.

Requirements for the position

• Education: Master’s degree in Process/ Chemical Engineering
• Working Experience +5 years
• Expertise in the field of Process Engineering, Engineering Contractor background, capable to compile Process Engineering Design Packages; P&ID review; HAZOP/SIL participation.
• Experience in the gas processing industry mandatory
• Knowledge in chemical process simulation required.
• Project and Proposal Management
• Possess problem solving capability, initiative, and creativity.
• Able to effectively influence others and to work in or lead diverse teams.
• Proven track record in field service/ on-site support (troubleshooting, commissioning)
• Language skills: Excellent English - written and verbal communication skills
