Job Purpose

This role requires a “hands on” approach to delivering business and digital solutions which provide significant value add to the business at regional and global levels. Working closely with business stakeholders and our dedicated digital function to ensure that the company has effective business and digital frameworks, governance and solutions that meet legal, regulatory and business requirements.  Recognised as a subject matter expert this role will deliver solutions through effective stakeholder engagement and full-lifecycle project management.

Combining people and project management skills, the role engages stakeholders and teams across the business to ensure that requirements are well defined and understood by all the stakeholders across EMEA and the wider group.  The role will also engage with global teams on the delivery of global initiatives, ensuring they are aligned with regional requirements and representing EMEA on global projects as needed.

This is a key business role that is often the frontline of IT communication to stakeholder and requires the individual to have a holistic view of business, digital and IT strategies to identify opportunities, uncover overlaps and gaps in solutions and manage them to optimise as required.

Please note this is a hybrid position: 2 days per week based in either Marlow, Bucks or Galashiels, Scotland

Responsibilities

• Be a strategic partner to the business and enhance IT visibility and capabilities and deliver a proactive and insightful approach to enabling functions to get the most from technology investments
• Be the subject matter expert for IT business systems across all regions for systems and IT governance frameworks
• Create and maintain necessary governance to meet business and regulatory requirements
• Deliver solutions within agreed timescales and budget within a structured project framework
• Ability to balance priorities and demands of an agile international business
• Ability to adapt and provide flexibility in delivering business solutions
• Able to work with highly technical teams when delivering results
• Build and maintain effective stakeholder management to ensure buy-in for your product and approach to delivery
• Create effective, prioritized solution descriptions and delivery plans to meet business needs in a cost-effective way
• Interpret business requirements to make correct solution decisions, ensuring they accurately reflect the defined scope and understand the relationship between products and overall delivery
• Demonstrable experience in ensuring new technologies and services are transitioned effectively to the relevant teams with necessary training and support frameworks

Qualifications

• Experienced in a senior business analyst role
• Educated to degree level in relevant business or IT areas or equivalent experience
• Experience in managing multiple complex projects across international regions
• Knowledge of cloud computing to support digital solution delivery
• Knowledge of solution validation requirements in highly regulated environments
• Experienced in the selection and delivery of business systems across multiple countries
• Experienced working in the selection and delivery of digital solutions combined with COTS solutions
• Excellent communicator at all levels
• Management of suppliers including value for money in support of contracts and services
