Job Description
Human Resources Services (HRS) is an internal function providing global operations and business support across Brookfield’s lines of business.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workforce Finance Manager to join our team. This person will report in Senior Vice President, Human Resource Services. The successful candidate will play a critical role managing the accuracy and effectiveness of our workforce-related financial metrics while also contributing to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing financial performance tracking and operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize workforce-related expenses and drive efficiency.
• Deliver quarterly workforce allocation reports to support decision-making processes.
• Reconcile report data to payroll information, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and identify and implement improvements to reporting processes
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to align workforce planning with financial goals and objectives.
• Analyze workforce-related financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the development of financial models and forecasts to aid workforce planning and budgeting processes.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial analysis of workforce metrics.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to workforce financial management
• Manage one direct report responsible for day-to-day data updates and report requests
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience in financial management, with a focus on workforce-related expenses and metrics.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to align workforce financial strategies with overall business objectives.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis
• Familiarity with HR systems and processes, and compensation management.
• Expert level user of Excel (pivot tables and lookups) and advanced capabilities with balance of MS Office Suite of applications
Salary Range: $115k - $125K
Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations
