Huq is a research business that measures real-world consumer trends using mobility data. The company is in an exciting phase - currently growing at a rate well in excess of 100% per year.
We build products based upon large volumes of geospatial data and are looking for a talented data engineer to join our positive and energetic team. Our primary processing pipeline is written in Python using Apache Beam and running on Google DataFlow. You should be comfortable with writing code that can run in a distributed environment and have an excellent grasp of the fundamentals of computer science. Beyond this, there are a lot of opportunities to work on various ways of modeling data, extracting insights and engaging in R&D and building tooling.
