Requirements
Estimator: This is where you come in.
We seek a Senior Estimator who leverages their comprehensive expertise in estimating processes, business acumen, and comprehension of construction procedures to orchestrate the compilation of a project's overall mechanical cost. This individual will be tasked with crafting estimates, upholding tool maintenance, and contributing to the training and advancement of the Estimating Team.
Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:
- Ensure that assigned estimates are completed accurately, thoroughly, and on-time with all required deliverables.
- Develop interdepartmental relationships to glean insights and bolster the accuracy of team estimates.
- Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration within both the department as well as the project teams.
- Demonstrate outstanding leadership within the team by inspiring, setting a positive example, and fostering mutual respect.
- Engage in project interviews, presentations, and thorough estimate reviews with customers as required.
The Senior Estimator reports directly to our Estimating Manager and operates within a dynamic, collaborative team dedicated to diverse projects and initiatives aimed at advancing our expanding business. This role, which holds significant visibility, engages with stakeholders across all levels and functions within the organization.
Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?
You should have…
- The ability to establish, oversee, and implement performance metrics for both the department and the sales team.
- Knowledge on estimating resources including MCA, SMACNA, NECA, Wendes, RS-Means, and others as necessary.
- A track record of critical thinking and problem solving, using sound judgement to make decisions
- Expertise in time management and organization
- Outstanding spatial reasoning and the ability to visualize / navigate three dimensional virtual environments.
- Solid technology skills, with a drive to learn new, challenging, cutting edge 3D modeling and data analytic software.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field

Benefits
Compensation: $100,000 to $145,000 Annually
